Expired (dying new world)

An exhibition by Ahmad Sabbagh, Typism (Michael Schinkoethe), and Akut (Falk Lehmann) from Blouzaat, Expired is the culmination of the artists' cross cultural visual dialogue, exploring the innermost, basic human faults and vices, shared by all of humanity across the globe. This is the artists' definition of the dying infant world of today. The art making process of this exhibition explored various probable, and improbable, means of constituting a visual critique of both cultures, playing on both the contrasts and the similarities. The artwork developed into a hybrid that has no distinct nationality nor ethnicity, and a mesh of inherited influences, a crossbreed that has its own personal identity.
