Rafa' Al
Nassiri :-IRAQ Born in Takrit
in 1940. Works and lives in Bahrain. He has been
described as a poetic and sensitive artist of
high technical skill with a strong attraction
for aesthetism and the visual in colour. His two
dimensional paintings of pure colour show the
diversity of his background incorporating as
they do rigid geometry in smooth painterly tones
with rough spontaneous textured work full of
calligraphy and age-old symbolism. He founded
the grafic section at the institute of fine Arts
