Ali Taleb :-
IRAQ Born in Basrah
in 1944. Works and lives in Jordan. Taleb's
earlier pieces painted in the seventies are
striking for their well painted surfaces and
their astonishing lime green backgrounds, with
lightly etched array of symbols which range from
Miro type heads to rockets. His more recent work
is a bolder more darkly powerful image whose
title " Happenings in the head" describes it
more sufficiently and eloquently than any wordy
