Jordan Born in Amman
in 1939. Works and lives in Jordan. In her recent
works she develops the tradition of Arabic
Calligraphy in a modern format. Ali is the
founder of Jordan's National Gallery of Fine
Arts. She has published several books on
Contemporary Islamic Art and on the Contemporary
