Darat al Funun has introduced a new exhibition concept, The Exhibition of Contemporary Arab Artists, that has well served artists and the public alike. In this exhibition, visitors may view the whole year round, a rotating selection of works by a number of Arab artists, living in the Arab world and abroad, who are invited to exhibit their work at Darat al Funun. The works are for sale without commission to the non-profit Darat al Funun.

Through this collective exhibition, Darat Al Funun achieves several goals. It provides the public with a bird's eye view of works of art created by Arab artists and gives the opportunity to witness, as closely as possible, the development of the Arab Art Movement. It also facilitates the acquisition of these works by the public.
